I gave myself the exercise of inventing a new word for the right balance between egoism and altruism. Like the perfect balance between caring for yourself and others. Since ego is Latin for "I" and alter for "the other" I was going into the line of nosism (we) or omnisism (everyone) and then I bumped into the word communism (communis, shared, together). Of course immediately realizing that word already exist. Wait a minute, was that maybe the purpose of the first people inventing that word? Some research shows it goes much further back than Marx and it might as well have been! So, wait a minute, maybe through times that word has been changed and even raped, especially by the US? "Communism is eeeevil" Maybe including similar words and systems, like socialism (allies, companion) and many others? (One has to know that they have brainwashed almost their whole population and even big part of the rest of the world against any form of communism as if that is the devil's work.) Anyway, I am not pleading for the political communism from Marx here. Although I would have to say a lot about that too )and not necessarily one direction. My more relevant point is rather, have powers that be not always feared and corrupted words with origins that unite us and other ideas in that direction, namely aiming for well being for everyone (communis), not just oneself (ego)? Because then they would have to sacrifice a lot for that. They'd rather be the more happy than everyone (or believe they do and would by their egoism) than share and have a very more wide well-being. I bet they would actually be happier or be "more well" themselves too (in the end). Anyway, what do you guys think about this? Is this something so basic and obvious or is this that basic idea revisited and did I put a new light on it?
